Our Family
Married for over 30 years, SHELLEY and KEN have been dancing and teaching together all that time. They are the proud parents of Isadora, and Hayden, and are grateful to be able to balance family with work here in East Longmeadow.
Our Philosophy
Dance is for everyone - all ages, all shapes and sizes - all levels - NO AUDITIONS NECESSARY. All of our students learn the skills required to make them the finest dancers they can be, in a family atmosphere filled with encouragement, warmth, and positive reinforcement.
Our Training
Beginning your child's training at the right school makes an important difference in their dance education. In both our recreational and pre-professional programs, all of our students make visible improvement each year. All classes include a thorough warm up, correct body placement for strong technique and injury prevention, full knowledge of dance terminology, as well as exciting dance combinations to great music!
Our Student Concerts
Our Student Concerts are fully professional productions at CityStage in Springfield, Massachusetts. Student Concerts are open to all students. Participation is voluntary. There are no catalogue costumes!
Our Results
Our students have received major financial and talent scholarships and have been accepted into internationally renowned dance companies and programs such as The New York City Ballet, The Julliard School, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, The School of American Ballet, The American Ballet Theater School, The Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, The American Dance Festival at Duke University, The School of The Boston Ballet, The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and the dance departments at SUNY Purchase, Ohio State, Smith College and UMASS Amherst (to name a few)!
